LABORATORY
ELECTROMAGNET EA110F TYPE |
| Généralities
This
electromagnet, built for an easy and flexible use, gives an important
magnetized volume for many laboratory applications, amongst others,
magnetic characterization of materials.

|
Description
It is composed
of :
- Easily
removable poles (with can give needed air-gap values and pole shapes).
The pole are made with soft steel with magnetic quality (see table below).
The position of the poles are mechanically reproductible after each
interchange
- Induction
coils cooled by service water, which can be used at its nominal current
without time limitation.
These coils can be manufactured with different techniques to fit with
different power supplies. There are very robust and are fitted with
an external protection.
- A
U Breech in very low carbon content steel

Coils
Nominal
intensity : 50 A Maximum intensity : 55A Ohmic resistance (at
service temperature) : 0.7 Ohm +-10%
The nominal intensity correspond to a steady state usage.
The
maximum intensity can be feeded during 30 minutes.
Options
- Coils
with voltage and intensity to fit your power supply
- Poles
with specific shapes such as cylindrical, conical, with gradients, rectified,
with axial hole .....
